An amazing show just concluded in the North of Europe. Finland held UMK, its national final for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, in Espoo. A very open competition it was, with many favourites battling it out until the votes of the audience came in and gave the victory to Krista Siegfrids with the song Marry Me!

The Icelandic entry for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest has been chosen in the final of Söngvakeppnin, the national selection of the Nordic country, tonight. Seven acts were battling for the ticket to Malmö, and in the end, Eyþór Ingi Gunnlaugsson gained the highest score in the joint result of televoting and the verdict of an expert jury.

The word was out in the press early in the evening today about who is going to represent France at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest. Eurovision.tv just got the confirmation from France Televisions. The singer Amandine Bourgeois will be the French performer in Malmö with the song L'Enfer Et Moi which translates as Hell And Me.

Albania has made a choice. Since they joined in 2004 they've always chosen their Eurovision Song Contest entry in December through their national competition Festivali i Këngës. This year's final has just ended producing the following winners: Adrian Lulgjuraj & Bledar Sejko with the song Identiet!
