Israel has decided on its entry for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. In a live show broadcast nationally and on the Internet by the Israeli Channel 1 tonight, Dana International won the golden ticket for Düsseldorf song Ding Dong. She won the Contest in 1998 with Diva.

The 47th edition of the Festival da Canção just took place at the Teatro Camões in Lisbon. After the shared votes by an expert-regional jury and televote on a 50/50 basis, Homens da Luta will represent Portugal at the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest with the song Luta É Alegria.

The final of Dora 2011 has taken place this evening in Croatia. Daria has emerged victorious in her sing off with Jacques Houdek. Each artist performed three specially commissioned songs for the final, and the viewers chose Daria as the winner with the song Celebrate.
