If last year Latvia was represented by pirates singing about their wicked ways, then this year the Baltic country sent one of their most successful stars to the 54th Eurovision Song Contest, who sung about traffic jams 'in the heart'. The song was Probka and performed by Intars Busulis.

The Netherlands sent undoubtedly the shiniest act this year to the 54th Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. The hugely popular Dutch trio The Toppers presented their song Shine in costumes covered with tiny LED lights. They asked the whole of Europe to shine and so we did!

Slovenia also decided that this was the year for string instruments, like Estonia and Norway did. Five very gifted and successful musicians and a young Eurovision Song Contest veteran - Martina - represented the Balkan country at the 54th Eurovision Song Contest with Love Symphony.

Hungary decided to get the whole of Europe dancing this time. They chose Zoli Ádok to represent them with Dance With Me. He had a magnificent costume change, a catchy tune and wonderful choreography on stage in Moscow. What more could have Europe wanted?
